Sandeep Acharya (Hindi: संदीप आचार्य, born 4 February 1984) is an Indian singer.
Sandeep Acharya - Indian Idol Season 2 hails from Bikaner, Rajasthan and was crowned the winner of Indian Idol (season 2) on 22 April 2006. Acharya is the winner of the second season of Indian Idol while the first was won by Abhijeet Sawant. Acharya beat judges favorite, 19-year old N. C. Karunya in a glitzy function in Mumbai. Along with the title of Indian Idol, Acharya walked away with Rs.1 crore contract from Sony BMG, a music album contract and a brand new Maruti Baleno car. Sandeep also participated in a TV show on channel 9X - Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1 under the team of Mika.
Sandeep Was runner up in Golden voice of rajasthan before crowning Indian idol in 2004, organised by rajashthan patrika judged by Vani jairam and ustad ahmed hussain & Mohammad hussain & sajid,wajid. Hosted By Aman Verma
